Enjoying the Simple Things

Yesterday, I had the opportunity to spend the day with my oldest son, youngest son and my three granddaughters. We had Happy Face Pancakes for breakfast to start our day with a smile. We went to the park and the girls played on the playground and we pushed them on the swings. "Higher, Meemaw," they shouted as they giggled. After the park, we ate pizza and then went back to my house and watched a movie (Princess one--always a winner). It was a wonderful day and we didn't spend a lot of money. We just spent time together enjoying each other's company. I cannot wait for another opportunity to be able to just enjoy the simple things in life--spending time with the ones I love.
